King Pellet
ENplus® A1 PREMIUM
PELLET KING is a renewable fuel produced in our European and non-European factories. It is densified into a cylindrical shape, obtained from the grinding and compression of virgin wood derived from sawmill waste.
It is classified as biomass because its combustion produces very low CO2 emissions, even 10 times lower than those of fossil and gaseous fuels (gas and oil).
It is environmentally friendly because it comes from renewable sources that are managed responsibly.
It does not use bark, which contains impurities and mainly sand that vitrifies during combustion, damaging the boilers.
It stands out for its high calorific value and low ash residue, placing it at the top of the market.
Suitable for use in any type of stove, thermo-stove, fireplace, and boiler.

CALORIFIC VALUE
The calorific value is the amount of heat produced during the combustion of a unit of fuel, measured in kWh/kg (Kilowatt-hours per kg), MJ/kg (Megajoules per kg), and Kcal/kg (Kilocalories per kg). A higher calorific value indicates a higher fuel efficiency.
This value primarily depends on the type of wood and varies according to its moisture content. It’s important to note that the Moisture Content should not exceed 10.0%, as higher moisture levels reduce the calorific value. Conversely, the moisture content should not fall below 3.0%, as this can cause the pellets to crumble.
The ENplus® A1 certification mandates a maximum moisture content of = 10.0% and a calorific value of = 4.6 kWh/kg.
The table alongside shows the optimal values and the trend of the calorific value in relation to the moisture content of the pellet in question.
